WL28 Wheel Loader: Compact and Powerful Transporting heavy loads through tight spaces is the ideal operational area for the WL28 wheel loader. It can easily handle pallets of paving stones or other material up to 3,500 lb. The electronically-controlled travel drive with various travel modes enables extremely productive work using the machine. The low-designed cab ensures excellent visibility and high tipping loads. Because of the outstanding visibility, the machine offers exceptional safety during operation. The low operating weight also allows the WL28 to be transported on a car trailer. Comfort cab The comfort cab has been optimized to meet the needs of the operator and enables safe and fatigue-free working: 4-pillar design, deep-drawn windows, and panoramic rear window for optimal all-round visibility. Heating with optimized air circulation and air conditioning for constant, comfortable temperatures. Ergonomically arranged controls, new interior, and reduced vibrations and noise in the cab increase comfort for the operator. The amount of space in the cab is pioneering for vert compact wheel loaders. The air conditioning system can be integrated into the cab without additional superstructure. There is a choice between two different joysticks depending on the equipment and configuration. The coming-home lighting ensures additional comfort and safety. The cab is also suitable for taller operators, which isn't always the case for very compact wheel loaders. The pleasant working climate reduces operator fatigue. The optimized access with non-slip steps ensures that the operator can get in and out safely. Electronically regulated drive system Drive and work smarter! With the electronically-controlled drive system, the machine can be driven and used as needed. Four different driving modes were implemented by Wacker Neuson specifically for this purpose. Auto mode and Eco mode are always available as standard. Either attachment mode or M-Drive mode can be optionally selected. This offers maximum flexibility for the operator as they can configure the machine according to their needs. Electronic control reduces losses in the drive system and ensures higher efficiency and increased effectiveness, compared to existing solutions. Lower power requirements enable driving at low speeds. A perfectly coordinated package of protective measures also ensures reliable and long-lasting operation of the machine. Electric parking brake The electric parking brake is applied automatically when the machine is stationary, the direction of travel is set to neutral or the operator leaves the seat. The parking brake is released automatically when the machine is restarted using the accelerator pedal. This provides increased safety and comfort for the operator and their working environment. The machine can therefore be operated very efficiently thanks to the electric parking brake. The electric parking brake can also be activated or deactivated manually by pressing a switch. The operator is always in control and can work with the machine according to his own needs and preferences. The electric parking brake offers both a comfortable auto-hold and hill-hold function. This prevents the machine from rolling away unintentionally and thus increases safety when working. High productivity thanks to the low front carriage The low front carriage makes high tipping loads and break out forces possible; this way, the maximum load per work cycle can be moved. The low front carriage provides for an outstanding overview of the attachment, the immediate work area and the entire surroundings of the machine, which guarantees safe working with the machine. The auxiliary hydraulics at the front on the load arm are protected by piping (3rd control circuit, 4th control circuit, overflow line, unpressurized return line, depending on the model). That is a unique selling point in the compact wheel loader class. Wear and tear is minimized and, as a result, the service life of the machine is increased. The machine can be used all year round (e.g. even for winter service), relying on many different attachments depending on the application. High-quality powder coating Compared to conventional wet painting, powder coating considerably extends the service life of the machine and is also environmentally friendly. The durable powder coating guarantees value retention and ensures an accordingly high resale value for the machine. Two powerful lifting cylinders Two powerful lift cylinders ensure that the load distribution is always optimally changed over to the load arm. Also, the overall loading system gains stability, which supports the operator in application. In combination with two lift cylinders, the torsion-resistant load arm prevents, to the greatest extent possible, damage to the loading system caused by torsion. The tie-downs are attached to the machine so that transport can be secured in compliance with the relevant industry standards. High-flow, high-performance hydraulics: The machine can be optionally equipped with high-flow, high-performance hydraulics.
