2010 Stewart Amos model 6-T large capacity & high-performance mechanical broom completely refurbished by factory in 2015 1866 hours/60,600 miles: disassembled, sand blasted, painted & reassembled using many new items and upgrades including new style elevator floor, chain, sprockets & shafts, mb drive, LED rear lights, all new hyd. Motors & updated hyd. Cooler; Sweeper equipped with 6.0 cubic yd, high dump (12ft) hopper, 11 flight squeegee elevating system with HD roller chain 3 shafts elevator system with chain & sprocket with idler with 3 shafts & sprockets compared to others using 2 sprockets which doubles the amount of chain adjustments & reduces chain wear and the need to remove chain links by 50%, which also maintains optimum chain spacing ensuring effective sweeping of large/bulky & wet debris to minimize clogging resulting in less down time and a significant reduction in maintenance costs; with 12' sweeping path using two 52" gutter brooms, in cab lift control, spring balanced brooms to automatically compensate for wear, polyethylene 350 gallon water tank, front spray bar, Kubota 59 hp. aux engine @1700 rpm, 10 GPM Gear type hyd. Pump, backup and side broom, camera with 7" color monitor; carbide dirt runner shoes, massive quad (4) "X" style lift scissors with 4 corner lift to provide excellent hopper lift stability especially when dumbing heavy wet, unbalanced or sticky debris, including hard to pick up roto millings; Conventional Freightliner Chassis with dual steering, Cummins 230 HP Engine, Allison 2500 transmission, 50 Gallon Fuel tank, A/C & Air-Ride suspension. WE HAVE HANDLED SEVERAL DIFFERENT SWEEPER LINES OVER THE YEARS AND FOUND THE STEWART-AMOS SWEEPERS ARE THE EASIEST TO SERVICE AND MAINTAIN, WITH GOOD PRODUCTION, LESS DOWN TIME AND LOWER OVERALL OPERATING COSTS.
