Description
This is probably one of the cleanest, perfect working non restored Cat D4 units you will ever find. Came from out west years ago and has been used lately here to pull a old HD ground chopper and a fireplow around the farm. 95% undercarriage! And we believe that to be the original seat.
See pictures of the nice hydraulic Fire Plow for sale only with the dozer for an additional $7,000. It is in excellent condition and very tight. Have used it recently behind both a D4 and a 750C and is only for sale with dozer purchase.
Machine will work all day with no problems as if it was new. Electric start gas pony engine to crank to the 4-Cylinder Caterpillar Diesel engine. See video and no issues at all. Remote hydraulics too. And this would make a great Cat D4 crawler too for any collector.
Serial # 7U16840 so it's a 1952 model and the D4 was rated at 43 HP. It is a 7U Wide Gauge (60"). Estimated weight as shown is between 10,000-10,250 lbs..
