Nice John Deere 4520 / 4620 tractor that the family bought new back in the early 1970's. It's been parked for 10 years now. It ran very good then but the owner is selling it just as shown and will load it out. Here is what we are guessing on the model as it has a 4520 serial tag on it as shown (1969 model) but 4620 decals. We understand more than a few early 4520's had their engines replaced with 4620 engines when that model came out since the early 4520 engines had some issues and the 4620 engine was much improved. And this does have a after cooler on it which the 4520's didn't have I'm told. If you are interested then the next time we are by the tractor will see if there is a engine tag on it. On running it the owner doesn't want to or have the time and man power to put batteries in and whatnot to start the 12+ tractors we are selling here. They will get it loaded onto and rolled up onto any open trailer with mega ramps, or get a local rollback company to load it on a flatbed or stepdeck without ramps. Or we can offer delivery with it loaded onto a trailer that has a winch. $18,000 or make any offer knowing all this with your best estimate of what condition it is in from sitting inside in the nice machine shed there. We do not know if the tach works but it does look like a replacement tach was installed at some point and that currently show 478 hours. We feel this tractor should be sort of easy to fire up again being a diesel but we are selling it as is as shown and to be loaded out as mentioned.
