John Deere model BO Lindeman crawler with blade and PTO. Serial tag is on the tractor but very hard to read. It is believed to be 333872. This tractor is believed to be one of the ending 1940 tractors produced. The Lindeman power equipment company converted the John Deere BO into Lindeman crawler units with the addition of a tracked undercarriage. Two cylinder all fuel engine with a four speed gear transmission. Built in Yakima, Washington, 1 of 1645 BO Lindeman‘s made. This tractor has been with the original collector in a controlled environment, museum for nearly 30 years. It has been on public display and shown thousands of times throughout its stay. The tractor will start and run. Steering brakes work, but not so well. The front blade is controlled by hydraulic cylinders, however do not seem to raise or lower, so the blade is in its up position using its original support chains. The PTO does turn.
