Verdelli MM2 Mechanical Grapple Buckets The mechanical grapples of the MM2 series are used for the handling of pile materials and excavation, they are equipment mounted on cable excavators with 2 winches; one lifting rope and the other for holding. The capacities are adopted to the lifting force of the machine on which it is mounted. There are three types: the light series, used for handling material with low specific weight (sludge handling type); while the heavy series is used for more demanding jobs (such as pebbles or coal); and finally the HD series for heavy-duty work with high specific weight material. The MM4 series mechanical grapples are mounted on excavators or four-rope overhead cranes. Two ropes for the up or down movement, and two for opening and closing. The equipment, based on the work it must carry out, can be produced in four different versions, which differ in the robustness of the structure. Each piece of equipment is chosen based on the specific weight of the material to be handled.
