Description
The 2.8P was designed to answer the specific market need to transport material and tools to the job site. The utility industry was requiring an amphibious vehicle to bring payload through harsh conditions with the occupants separated from the payload. The 2.8P redefines the operations on the job site with improve safety standards and productivity level while bringing material to the grid.
It has a a payload of 2,200 pounds and can carry two people. This Fat Truck pickup is available in two versions to suit specific customer needs: open cab or closed canopy.
The 2.8P is powered by a Cat 2.2C industrial engine, which delivers 67 horsepower to push the vehicle over the rough terrain.
It is capable of traveling to speeds up to 40 km/hr, can travel on the water at 5 km/hr, and climb steep muddy hills up to 75% of grade with all the safety requirements.
