It decreases installation space requirements as well as costs and increases V-belt lifetime. It rests in the back of the main frame and is attached to the crusher by means of bolts. • Motor base carries the electric motor. When motor base without support bearings is selected, the drive belt pulley is installed directly to the motor’s shaft. Without support bearings there is less maintenance points such as no flexible coupling or support bearings. The feed chute acts as an interface between the feeder and the crusher and ensures smooth material flow into the crusher cavity. It also protects the pitman head as well as the side plates. • Heavy duty feed chute is tall and allows feeding with for example an apron feeder. • • Belt protection plate Included • The belt protection plate is used especially in recycling applications to protect the discharge conveyor belt from long iron bars and/or rods.
